100 CENTRE ST COURT, May 13 – When Michael Cohen took the stand in the Trump Trial, his demeanor was notably different than on his TikToks and podcasts.

He emphasized, Mr. Trump directed me to just take care of this - meaning, Karen McDougal and then Stormy Daniels. 

As to McDougal, ultimately no payment to David Pecker was needed; the sales of the magazine with her on the cover had made more money than expected.

But on Stormy Daniels, Cohen said his instructions were to delay, delay, delay. 

  He quoted Trump that if he won the election, no need to pay, and if he lost, he wouldn't care.   

The prosecutor asked if Cohen thought Trump had been concerned about Melania. Cohen pointedly said that Trump snarked, How long do you think I'd be on the market?

  In the lead counsel's chair at defense table, making a few objections and thus thus presumptively the one to cross examine Cohen, was Todd Blanche, and not Emil Bove (who grilled Keith Davidson about extortion) nor Susan Necheles who grilled Stormy Daniels.
