100 CENTRE ST COURT, April 22 - In the Trump trial opening arguments were heard by the jury on April 22 and then the beginning of the first witness, David Pecker of the National Enquirer. Inner City Press live tweeted it all here
The day began with Justice Juan Merchan ruling that if Trump testifies he can be asked about aspects of the E. Jean Carroll case, and two NY AG Letitia James cases.
Trump lawyer Todd Blanche's opening was punctuated by prosecution objection, which were mostly sustained, including as to what could be said about Michael Cohen.
